Minimal Procedure Cost

F4001 HEPA Filter 
The F4001 Filter will entrap all the debris (down to a level of .3 microns). The F4001 Filter is considered "limited use" and it is estimated that you will be able to do approximately 250 microdermabrasion treatments before the filter requires replacement

The only cost is the single use filter disc
 (less than one dollar).

 
Environment
  • The small single use filter disc may be discarded in the biohazard container.
  • There is no aluminum oxide to purchase or dispose of.  No filters to backwash and nothing to clog.

System Maintenance

Cleaning and Sterilizing Instructions
The DiamondTone™ microdermabrasion wands are reusable and should be cleaned after each treatment. The equipment should be steam sterilized** if the surface of the skin has been penetrated. 
After a procedure is complete:
1. Clean the wand in a mild detergent with a brush or ultrasonic cleaner. 
2. Check the filters*. Dispose of any used filters with your bio-hazards. 
3. Wash tubing. 
The natural diamond chips on the wands are almost indestructible.
There are no crystals to change, filters to be back-flushed, or canisters to be refilled.
**Sterilize wands at 272°F (135°C) for 5 minutes.
 *The canister filter is considered "limited use" and requires periodic replacement. 
 *The disc filter will help prolong the life of the canister filter and should be changed regularly.
